Wynberg Improvement District

BOUNDARY

The WID boundary incorporates properties from Wynberg Main Road into Wetton road, Egham Road, Lower Church Street, Station Road and along Main Road (south) to Rockley Road then either side of Lester Road between Rockley and Park Road (east of Main). Then properties west of Main Road from Constantia Road into Fleming to Kemms and back to Main Road properties north to Piers Road then up to Mortimer Road. The properties along Mortimer Road (both sides) to Durban Road and Lonsdale to Waterloo Road. Waterloo to Carr Hill, Church Street, Brodie Road, Riverstone Road and back to Main Road at Wetton Road.

The map indicates the original 2000 operational boundary, the inclusion of the Wynberg Village from 1 July 2006 and the Main Road (south) extension approved in February 2016.

Tougher water restrictions proposed

The City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee today, 19 January 2017, recommended that Council implement tougher water restrictions at its sitting next week. If approved by Council, these Level 3b restrictions will come into effect from 1 February 2017.
